An Industrial Hygienist is a professional responsible for identifying, evaluating, and controlling risks that could affect the health and safety of people in the workplace. They apply scientific principles to anticipate, recognize, and control environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace, which may cause sickness, impair health and wellbeing, or cause significant discomfort among workers or citizens in the community.
