Asan HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing andmanaging the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineeringefforts within the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will play acrucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety foremployees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation ofbest practices in engineering-related safety. You will lead a dedicated team ofHSE professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments topromote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the IAbusiness unit.

You will report directly to our Sr Director HSE and you'll work on site out ofour Columbus, Ohio location.

In this role, you will impact our IA business unit by overseeing thedevelopment and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programsthat ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with theIA business unit's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, andenvironmental responsibility.
  • Ensure that the IA business unit complies with all relevant health,safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
  • Develop and implement safety measures, training, and policies to preventaccidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace within the IAbusiness unit.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazardsand contribute to the development of preventive measures within the IA businessunit.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents,including accidents and environmental emergencies within the IA business unit.
  • Support the management of the HSE budget within the IA business unit,including resource allocation and cost-effective solutions to maintain highstandards of health, safety, and environmental protection.
  • Contribute to environmental sustainability within the IA business unitby implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impactof the IA business unit's operations.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, andexternal stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, andeducation on HSE matters within the IA business unit.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in HSE engineering
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and bestpractices.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planningabilities.
