Shift Available: Part-Time: Every Saturday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

What is your role? The Life Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and secure operations for the campus. This position implements security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and makes sure that the environment is safe for residents, associates, and guests.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

CPR/AED/First Aid training.

Valid Driver's License

Here's what you can expect:

To work with a variety of people who treat others with respect and compassion.

Here's what you're responsible for:

Ensure security of entire campus, including parking areas

Maintain Fire and Emergency policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Communicates safety and security procedures throughout the campus

Accumulates, maintains and provides statistics and reports as directed

Investigates safety and security incidents that occur on campus property. Report all accidents or incidents involving residents or staff personnel to Department Head..

Inspects and maintains Life Safety equipment

Tests fire alarms, fire detection systems, fire extinguishers and emergency call systems

On occasion, the Life Safety Officer will be required to deliver meals to residents' homes.
